TAAEF: Texas Apartment Association Education Foundation

Situation:
TAAEF (Texas Apartment Association Education Foundation) raises awareness about careers and opportunities in the Texas apartment industry and supports formalized training programs in residential property management at all levels.

Problem:
The apartment industry is plagued by negative perceptions cast decades ago. Thoughts of bad landlords, slums and dead-end jobs are top of mind for most people.

Opportunity:
TAAEF was embarking on a mission to change these negative perceptions and cast a new light on the apartment industry. One that showed that the rental industry in Texas is both big business and a viable career path where opportunities are long-term and endless.

I was asked to help develop a rebranding campaign that both raised awareness of career opportunities in the apartment industry while combatting negative perceptions of the industry.
