Florida League of Cities
Situation:
Founded in 1922 by city officials to help shape legislation, share cooperative actions and exchange ideas — the league now represents more than 400 cities, towns, and villages across the state of Florida.
Problem:
The look, feel and voice was dated.
Opportunity:
A rebrand. Embracing the sentiment that citizens do NOT feel like the state, and the federal government can make the wisest decisions about local government, FLC needed to position itself as a local expert, gaining the trust and support of the people to do the right thing in all local matters.
I was asked to help develop the new tagline and messaging architecture as part of a rebrand. The new tagline would drive the look and feel of the new logo and refresh.
Solution:
Local Voices Making Local Choices
